For the older kids, there are lots of ways to affect the flow of water and control the machinery. For Js, it was a chance to drive while being soaking wet.

Another big part of the children's museum is the waterworks. I think this was Js' favorite thing. It took him mere seconds to becom completely drenched.

Js had a blast pushing a shopping cart all over the museum. He wasn't quite walking yet, but he could cruise around pretty darn well with the shopping cart.

Js found lots to explore at the Portland Children's Museum. We almost stuck around an extra day just to come back. Unfortunately, our schedule didn't permit it, but we will return.

Phil, hanging out at the barbeque. Phil, Mike, and I hung out, chased the girls, and got into trouble together. We got together again, 20-odd years later for Mike's retirement and it was just like old times (except for all the kids, of course.)
