Here is the storage shed, ready to be filled with everything in our two storage lockers. While it wasn't cheap ($400 at Costco), but it paid for itself in short order from the savings on the locker rentals.

John and I managed to put this storage building together in only a couple of hours. Had I tried it on my own, it would have taken days and it's unlikely it would still be standing today, two years later (which it is.)

Secret Passage House and Home

Behind our bedroom wall lies a secret passage. It turns left and continues at least as far as the front of the house. There is a similar passage on the other side of the house as well. You can see where the opening is behind our bedroom wall, just to the left of the light fixture.

Bare Wall House and Home

Older homes often need a bit of mending. If the lath and plaster develops a crack, then no amount of repainting will make the visible crack disappear. The wall of our bedroom had some pretty serious cracks as well as staining from roof leaks. So it came down to be replaced by more modern drywall.
