We have a small set of Brio type trains that we keep packed up for travel. They come in really handy sometimes, like this evening during a trip to Lake Tahoe.

We stopped off at Boomtown which has a small merry-go-round and a decent video arcade. Js enjoyed this truck driving game -- the nice thing about a two-year-old is that the demo mode is just fine; there's no need to actually put quarters in the machine.

Js loves talking on the phone, be it real or otherwise. I think he actually has more interesting conversations on the play phones than on the real ones.
