Uncle Roger's Notebooks of Daily Life

Introduction

My life is, to me, ripe with frequent challenges, occasional successes, spontaneous laughter, adequate tears, and enough *life* to last me a lifetime. To you, however, it surely seems most pedestrian. And therefore, I recycle the name I used previously and call this my Notebooks of Daily Life. Daily, because it's everyday in nature, ordinary. These conglomeration of events that are my life are of interest to me because I live it, perhaps mildly so to those who are touched by it, and could only be of perverse, morbid curiosity to anyone else. Yet, I offer them here nonetheless. Make of them what you will, and perhaps you can learn from my mistakes.

Uncle's Got a Brand New Gig

In case you're wondering what I've been up to (I know, you weren't, but then what the hell are you doing here anyway?), I've got a new gig. I'm now writing for Blogging Baby. Yep, you can now find the other half of my wit over there. It doesn't mean I've given up on this journal, mind you. Writing for Blogging Baby has some advantages, however. First, it pays. Not a huge amount, certainly nowhere near enough to quit my day job, but enough to help out. It also makes quite a few things deductible that wouldn't otherwise be. Most importantly, however, it may help give me credibility towards getting a couple of books published. So, now you get to read my idiotic ramblings in two places!

In case you didn't get my comment over at BB, thanks for the linky love. Ann Adams and I had just been e-discussing you (she asked if I knew you, and sadly, I didn't) when she said you'd linked to me in a post!! So thanks, and I'll be back!
