Questions

L. asked a few questions which I thought I'd give a bash at answering.

  1. What was the last thing you prayed for?
I haven't prayed in decades so I can't really remember, exactly. The last things I seriously hoped for, however, were that Sara would be a girl (we didn't know and Rachel really, really, wanted one) and that my dad would get better.
  2. What was the nicest thing you ever did for someone else?
Does not killing my siblings count? Let's see, I bought a cookie for a coworker. I loaned my brother-in-law money for lunch one day (he didn't pay me back and I don't plan on mentioning it.) Other than that, I can't think of anything. I tend to be more on the receiving end of nice things than on the giving end.
  3. What do you think about to cheer yourself up when you`re down about something?
Well, if I need a little confidence booster, I imagine something like a Beretta 92 tucked into my belt in the small of my back. Or, I imagine winning the lottery and buying my yacht. Yosemite works too, especially the grand canyon of the Tuolomne and Waterwheel Falls.

There ya go. That'll teach you not to ask questions.

Journal Description

My life is, to me, ripe with frequent challenges, occasional successes, spontaneous laughter, adequate tears, and enough *life* to last me a lifetime. To you, however, it surely seems most pedestrian. And therefore, I recycle the name I used previously and call this my Notebooks of Daily Life. Daily, because it's everyday in nature, ordinary. These conglomeration of events that are my life are of interest to me because I live it, perhaps mildly so to those who are touched by it, and could only be of perverse, morbid curiosity to anyone else. Yet, I offer them here nonetheless. Make of them what you will, and perhaps you can learn from my mistakes.
