Looking for Mr. Goodblog

I've received a number of hits from people using the various search engines to find answers to their deepest, most significant questions and so now I will provide a valuable service by giving them the answers they so desperately seek.

Here are the search engines they've used, the text for which they searched, and my answers to their true, often unspoken queries

mcdonald's (www.blogdigger.com)
Best nuggets, best fries, best shakes. Carl's and Wendy's have better burgers. None of 'em are particularly healthy. Yes, I think that the happy meal toy has definitely altered our culture and our perception of meals, and not for the better.

LG VX4500 vibrate manual (www.google.com)
verizon $50 rebate VX4500 (www.google.com)
lg vx4500 (www.google.com)
VX4500 turn on and off driving mode (search.yahoo.com)
vx4500 driving mode hang up (www.google.com)
LG VX4500 turn off vibrate mode (search.yahoo.com)
vx4500 driving mode (search.yahoo.com)
vx4500 "driving mode" (search.yahoo.com)
Yes, the manual that Verizon provides with the vx4500 really does suck. To turn off vibrate mode, press and hold the down arrow button on the side of the phone while the phone is closed. To turn off driving mode, do the same with the button with the picture of a microphone on it. Other than that, you know as much as I do.

t-mobile reception in napa (www.google.com)
All I can say is that if there are phone companies throwing parties in the wine country, they really should invite me.

mcroskey mattress (search.yahoo.com)
McRoskey mattress (web.ask.com)
McRoskey Airflex (search.yahoo.com)
Man, there are a lot of people out there not getting enough sleep. The McRoskey Airflex mattress is the best money can buy. (btw, it's McRoskey, not McCroskey.)

only benefits of internet in our daily life (www.altavista.com)
Hooboy, where do I begin? It's all about communication. E-mail, Instant Messaging, Web Publishing. The more people talk, the more they can realize how much they really have in common. The real question here is, however, how to avoid spam. At this time, you can't. Maybe, though, we can convince Dubya that spam is actually an Al Qaeda plot and he'll send the military to kill some spammers. Hey, that might actually work!

"Quintessential School Systems" (www.google.com)
Hmmm... QSS is a pretty decent place to work but to answer the question, private schools are not better than public schools -- in fact, it's just the opposite. Private schools are not required to hire certificated teachers the way public schools are; they can hire just about anyone. They only manage to keep their test scores up by kicking out any kids that cause trouble or don't do well academically. (Public schools have to take everyone.)

Roger sinasohn journal (www.google.com)
Yep, I have one, and you're reading it. Good on ya, mate!

paul sinasohn (www.altavista.com)
What can I say? I am genetically related to him, but I'm sure hoping there's enough of a difference in our DNA that my kids can grown up to be normal.

uncle (www.devilfinder.com)
Okaaaaay... You found me. That's MISTER devil to you. Hey, I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints; the sinners are much more fun.

Jared (ms101.mysearch.com)
jared herman (www.google.as)
Yep, he's cute as a button, smart as a whip, and has a carefree mind of his own, with a devilish look in his eye. I'll get around to updating that site one of these days.

Cosby Show + tap dance challenge (www.google.com)
Rachel says it was cool. And she knows.

engadget (www.feedster.com)
A pretty nifty site I only recently discovered. It joins The Gadgeteer and ZZZ Online in my Gadgetry bookmarks.

WHAT IS THE LAW ABOUT IT BEING ILLEGAL TO SMOKE IN THE CAR WITH KIDS (web.ask.com)
Yes, I do think that this law would not go far enough; I think that smoking around kids should be a felony. Smoking while pregnant should be considered at least assault. Unfortunately, it looks like it's going nowhere fast. Write yer congress-critter!

That's it for this issue. Stay tuned for more answers to questions left unasked!

Journal Description

My life is, to me, ripe with frequent challenges, occasional successes, spontaneous laughter, adequate tears, and enough *life* to last me a lifetime. To you, however, it surely seems most pedestrian. And therefore, I recycle the name I used previously and call this my Notebooks of Daily Life. Daily, because it's everyday in nature, ordinary. These conglomeration of events that are my life are of interest to me because I live it, perhaps mildly so to those who are touched by it, and could only be of perverse, morbid curiosity to anyone else. Yet, I offer them here nonetheless. Make of them what you will, and perhaps you can learn from my mistakes.
